Mary Ann Murray, CPA

Mary Ann is a founding member of Murray, Wamsley & Schrader, L.L.C. Mary Ann graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1979 from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After graduation, she and her husband relocated to the Southern Maryland area and she was employed by the St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission as Fiscal Specialist/Treasurer. In 1981, Mary Ann was certified as a public accountant. She decided to continue her career in the field of public accounting and joined a regional firm in Waldorf, Maryland as in-charge accountant. Jenny Wamsley, CPA

Jenny is a founding member of Murray, Wamsley & Schrader, L.L.C. Jenny graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1986 from West Virginia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in both, Accounting and Computer Management /Data Processing. Jenny has worked in the field of public accounting her entire career. After graduation, she worked for a CPA firm in West Virginia for two years where she performed audits of commercial businesses, health care institutions, and banks. Jenny relocated to Southern Maryland in 1988 where she began working for a local CPA firm as an in-charge accountant. More...

Cathy Schrader, CPA

Cathy is the Director of Government Contract Accounting Services at Murray, Wamsley & Schrader, L.L.C.  She joined the firm in July 2005, and became a co-owner in November 2007.   Cathy earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Canisius College in New York State in 1977. She earned her Master's degree in Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1990, and her professional certification in accountancy in Maryland in 1996. Cathy worked in several different industries before her first experience with defense government accounting in 1986, when she began working for an international defense contractor as an accounting supervisor. Sharon Woodside, CPA

Sharon is a Manager with Murray, Wamsley & Schrader, L.L.C. and has been with the firm since July 2000. Sharon graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Professional Accountancy. She was certified as a public accountant in Pennsylvania in 1988 and in Maryland in 2000. Sharon was employed by a CPA firm in Harrisburg, PA from 1985 until 1999 when she relocated to Southern Maryland. Sharon has worked in public accounting for over twenty years. More...

Leighann Harris, CPA

Leighann is a Manager with Murray, Wamsley & Schrader, L.L.C. and has been with the firm since August 2005. Leighann graduated from Oral Roberts University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and minor in Computer Science. She was certified as a public accountant in California in 1992. Leighann was employed by the international accounting firm of Deloitte and Touche, LLC and other regional and local CPA firms, and has over ten years of public accounting experience. More..

Tonya Pressley

Tonya has been a Staff Accountant with Murray, Wamsley & Schrader, L.L.C. since July 2006. Tonya graduated from the University of Maryland University College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  Tonya provides audit, compilation and tax services to clients.  She also performs bookkeeping and payroll services for clients using Quickbooks and Peachtree accounting software. In addition, she assists clients with payroll compliance including quarterly tax returns and annual employer reporting requirements. Prior to working for Murray & Wamsley, L.L.C., Tonya held a variety of positions with various non-profit  organizations and accounting firms. Tonya spends her free time volunteering with a variety of local groups such as the Girl Scouts as well as keeping up with her children's sports and activities.

Paula Goode

Paula graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Coordinated Dietetics. She has worked in various positions within the Public Health industry as a Registered Dietitian for 20 years. Paula has been enjoying a career change as an Administrative Assistant for Murray, Wamsley & Schrader, L.L.C. since 1998.

Candlist Greenwell

Candlist Greenwell is a Staff Accountant with Murray, Wamsley, & Schrader LLC.  She has been with the firm since February 2007.  Candlist graduated from the University of Maryland University College in May 2009 with an Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  She is currently working on her Master degree in Management Specializing in Accounting at the University of Maryland University College.  Candlist participates in audits, compilation, bookkeeping, payroll services, and tax services to clients.  Prior to her current position, Candlist preformed bookkeeping services for Lusby Sunoco.  Candlist spends most of her time studying but when she has time, she enjoys swimming, skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.
